2017 dTEAM Contemporary Audition

dTEAM is a contemporary based Competition Team from dCADEMY. Congratulations to the dTEAM members who had competed in the recent 18th CSTD Regional Dance Competition at ACJC Auditorium! They had on 2nd position for their group group item and various 1st Positions for their solo items.

With the aim of allowing dancers to perform, exchange, and compete on a National and International stage, it was indeed a fulfilling year for TEAMdpa dancers immersing themselves in the China Dance Exchange at Liaoning Ballet of China and Beijing Dance Academy from 12th – 20th June 2016! They attended the 5 days’ dance classes (Ballet and Contemporary) at Liaoning Ballet of China in Shenyang. which is one of the Asia top dance schools who produces professional dancers yearly for international dance companies in China, Europe and Australia.

Congratulations to Scholarship Winners! 

DPA would like to recognise the outstanding dancers who were placed 1st Position in their SOLO items with the 2017 TEAMdpa Scholarship. This will entitle them to a year of free Apprentice/dTEAM training Classes. We hope also to motivate all students to work towards this scholarship for the years to come.

TEAMdpa 2017 Highlights :

  • NZ Immersion for Youth Apprentice, Senior Apprentice and dTEAM (2nd/3rd week June)
  • Perth Dance Festival (1st /2nd week July) for entire TEAMdpa
  • CSTD Regional Competition in Singapore (1st – 3rd Sept Junior, 6th – 9th Sept Senior) for entire TEAMdpa

For 2017 Scholarship dancers and selected Soloists:

  • Get the Beat ( 7th – 10th  June)
  • CSTD Asia Pacific Competition in Kuala Lumpur (1st/2nd week August)

Venue               : Dancepointe Academy @ BIG BOX Mall ( 1 Venture Ave, #B1-K2, Lobby A)

(ALL) dTEAM 14 & above  (Born 2003 & before)               : 1930 – 2200hrs

*Auditions for dTEAM will be Ballet and Contemporary based.

Strong contemporary background or minimum RAD inter found or equivalent is required for dTEAM auditions.

 

2017 TRAINING DETAILS

Fees after subsidy: $10 per hour.

2017 Bursary Application Forms will be given out to all successfully selected TEAMdpa 2017 dancers. Up to 2 per class will be awarded this Bursary. 

(ALL) dTEAM 14 years old & above (Born 2003 & before)

Training Schedule : Every Saturday, 8.00-10.30am. Added on Tuesdays, 7.00-9.00pm in Term 2 & 3.
