Biography
5th Avenue School of Jazz and Street Dance
Ray started as a break dancer in Indonesia for six years. His crew has won several local and international breaking competition. After completing the Diploma in Sociology, Ray decided to pursue his passion by enrolling in LASALLE School of Dance in Singapore
Ray’s keen interest in choreography gave him various opportunities explores his own style by fusing both break dance and contemporary together. Being a young choreograher, Ray is privilege to have worked with senior choreographers like Melissa Quek, Bernice Lee, Shahrin Johry, Christina Chan, Sufri Juwahir, Sheriden Newman, Goh Xiang Tian and Ryan Tan.
Performed in Maya Dance Theatre- Release 3.0 , On the edge (2013,2014), The Next Step (2014), Laos FMK International Dance Festival (2014), REVERBERATE (2016). Ray choreographed “Blade” Release 4.0 (2015), ‘The Teddy Bear” CityLights (2015)
