Biography

Ms Dianny Tan, our Senior Classical Ballet Mistress, is a Registered Teacher , LRAD of The Royal Academy of Dance (RAD UK). Since 2003 till present, she had trained numerous students from Pre-School to the highest level of the RAD – Advanced 2. She had been constantly updated with the new RAD syllabi, contemporary technique, Character technique, variations ballet techniques, classical ballet technique through Continuing Professional Development from Royal Academy of Dance, Masterclass, Observations class and Workshops in several countries. In addition are Progressing Ballet Technique, pilates and yoga for understanding what and how the muscles work and develop the strength and flexibility. 

Dianny started dancing at The Royal Ballet Centre – Medan. Although she was in the five ten of age, with her passion, hardworking and open mind attitude she succeed in completing them with Distinctions and Merits. She achieved the highest level of The Royal Academy of Dance (RAD UK) – Advanced 2 in Classical Ballet and received her ARAD in 2006. 

For choreographies and performances, Dianny had experiences for various performances in both Classical Ballet and Figure Ice Skating in Medan, such as The Sleeping Beauty, The Ugly Duck, Persian Market, The Rainbow Fairies, Miracle Charity,Alice in Wonderland Etc. She also choreographs for competitions such as CSTD, GTB, WBGP, AGP, Masterpiece and Hong Kong Challenge Cup. As a teacher, she loves to share her experiences, learning over time and gives encouragement to the maximum of the possibility. Her achievements include CSTD and Get The Beat, hongkong Soloists achieving 1st, 2nd and 3rd, Duo 1st and Demi Character 3rd.
