Biography

Bryan was born and raised in Colombia. He started dancing at the age of 4, with salsa and tango. He then entered the Colombian Institute of Classical Ballet (Incolballet) where he studied Ballet, Contemporary Dance and Folklore.

In 2013, Bryan attended the Earl Mosley Institute of the Arts summer school (Connecticut) and was then awarded a scholarship to attend school at the Manhattan Youth Ballet from 2014 – 2017. Bryan danced with Azoe Dance Company (Colombia), Pajarillo Pinta’o (NYC) and Drye/Marinaro Dance Company (NYC).

During his years in New York, he has also worked with renowned choreographers and teachers such as Matthew Rushing (Associate Artistic Director Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre), Clifton Brown (Alvin Ailey ADT), Patrick Coker (Alvin Ailey ADT), Earl Mosley (Alvin Ailey II), Brian Reeder (American Ballet Theatre), Deborah Wingert (American Ballet Theatre), Flavio Salazar (American Ballet Theatre), Daniel Ulbricht (New York City Ballet), Juan Carlos Peñuela (Pennsylvania Ballet), Meredith Rainey (Pennsylvania Ballet), Daniel Fetecua (Limón Dance Company), Jamie Drye, Francesca Marinaro, Darrell Grand Moultrie, Rennie Harris.

Bryan holds a Diploma in Dance (with Distinction) from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Singapore where he has had the privilege to dance for choreographers such as Filomar Tario (Philippines), Gillian Tan (Singapore), Ezekiel Olivera (Portugal) and Richard Chappell (UK), Jeffrey Tan (Singapore). He has taught CSTD Jazz and Ballet, Lyrical and Contemporary through these years.

Bryan will be teaching in the Jazz faculty.
