Biography
Ms Fu Tsz Ching started her dance training from the age of 7. Tsz Ching completed her CSTD Level 1 Syllabus in Contemporary Dance, Graded syllabus in Classical Ballet and Jazz as well as RAD Vocational Graded Syllabus – Advanced 1. She will be further pursuing the highest level of Advanced 2 under the Senior Ballet Mistress of Dancepointe Academy, Ms Kok Hui Shi.
Besides Classical Ballet, she is also exposed to other genres of dance such as Contemporary Dance by Madam Tan Siew Lan from NAFA, Street Salsa by Mr Gary Foo from En Motion Dance. Having participated in many Singapore Youth Festival competitions during her schooling years, she achieved Gold with Honours with her team representing Nan Chiau High School. Furthermore, in the year of 2010, she represented her school for a Bauhinia Cup International Hong Kong Dance Championships in Hong Kong.
In 2015, she was part of the Dancepointe Academy Senior Apprentice Team and competed in Barcelona, Spain. The team achieved Overall Champion, First in Ethnic and First in Contemporary for Europe Grand Prix Dance Competition 2015. Tsz Ching also had the chance to be part of the immersion program to London to learn from various famous dance schools and instructors following the competition. The team then competed in the CSTD Singapore Regional Dance Competition, attaining 1st position in the Contemporary Group Open Category and 1st position in the Freestyle Group Open. They were awarded the highest score of the entire competition. Adding on to all these achievements, she had also participated in the National Performing Platform during the Chingay 2015 Performance.
In 2016 CSTD Singapore Regional Competition, Tsz Ching represented Group Open – Neo Classical piece and received Honourable Mention.
In 2017 CSTD Singapore Regional Competition, Tsz Ching received Honourable Mention for her Classical Ballet Solo and 3rd Position for Group Open – Neo Classical competition pieces.
Tsz Ching is part of the Dancepointe Apprentice Teaching Programme since 2014 and in addition, the RAD Certificate of Ballet Teaching Studies (CBTS). Ms Fu Tsz Ching officially joined Dancepointe Academy as a Full-time Ballet Mistress in Oct 2017. In addition, She is also part of TEAMdpa as an assistant teacher since 2015 and also a choreographer for duo and trio additional items for competitions.
