Biography
Ms Stacey Yeo’s dance career began in Singapore, where she started learning Classical Ballet at the age of 4, where her deep love for dancing saw her progressing to pursue her studies for Grade 1 to 8 under The Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Graded Syllabus Examinations as well as for the Advanced levels in the Vocational Graded Examinations. She had obtained RAD Vocational Graded – Advanced 1 for her Classical Ballet training. Besides the long years of dance training, she had attended the Asia Pacific Summer School in Year 2000 and also performed alongside with Singapore Dance Theatre “The Sleeping Beauty” in 2004.
With her strong passion in dancing, Stacey has participated actively in various arts festival and competitions such as Singapore Youth Festivals (SYF) and performed extensively in major stages both professionally and commercially such as Mediacorp Charity shows, Chingay and National Day Parade. Apart from ballet, Stacey is also exposed to Music (Piano) at the age of 8 and finished her studies for Grade 1 to 8 under the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music.
Stacey had completed her Royal Academy of Dance Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies (RAD CBTS) and is appointed as a Registered Teacher of the RAD in 2011. She was previously engaged as a Ballet Instructor in both Bukit Batok and Pasir Ris East Community Centres and was teaching The Royal Academy of Dance syllabus.
Ms Stacey Yeo is appointed as a Classical Ballet Teacher under Dancepointe Singapore, with her 8 years of teaching experiences.
